For traversing draperies that open/close to cover your window, you must determine the number of fabric widths required to allow for
ample fullness when the draperies are closed.  Refer to the chart below for number of fabric widths required based on your rod width.

Note: This chart is not necessary for stationary side panels, which are to be used for decorative purposes only.  

Rod Pocket and Flat Planels
A single width is approximately 48" wide laying flat.  The below chart allows for 2 x fullness when the drapes are closed.








Pleated Headers:  Pinch Pleat, Parisian Pleat, Goblet,  Inverted Box
A single width is approximately 24" wide at the top and spreads to 48" wide at bottom.  The below chart allows for 4" overlap in the center when drawing
together a pair.  It is highly recommended that you use at least the number of widths shown below to ensure your draperies cover the entire width of your
rod when closed.







Note:  Width charts are not provided for Ruche Top or Smocked Top, as these are best used as decorative side panels vs
functional draperies.
