HOW TO DETERMINE DRAPERY LENGTH
Note: Hardware (poles or rods) are typically mounted 4-6" above the window frame.
For decorative pole with rings:
For floor length draperies, measure from the eye of the hook on the ring, to the floor. Subtract 1/2".
For draperies that puddle, measure from the eye of the hook on the ring, to the floor. Then add 2" for a
small puddle so draperies just "break" on the floor. Add 4"-6" for draperies if you'd like draperies to pool
on the floor.
For standard traverse rod:
For floor length draperies, measure from the top of the rod to the floor. Subtract 1/2".
For draperies that puddle, measure from the top of the rod to the floor. Then add 2" for a small puddle so
draperies just "break" on the floor. Add 4"-6" for draperies if you'd like draperies to pool on the floor.
